We all use technology for different things from paying bills, buying books, sending email and applying for jobs. Some people even use technology to send hateful and hurtful messages. When it comes to cyber bullying it is hard to track down the person who is sending the messages. This creates easier access to people that love harming others. It is very hard to determine or even to prosecute a person that sends hatred messages. People use alias and use different names, and most of the times they are not who they say they are. People know that by using technology they are able to get away with different things especially this type of behavior. They know if they were prosecuted it would not stand in court, so like they say, “You are innocent until you are proven guilty.” In my opinion, people will act how they want to act and hurt people’s feelings with or without the use of technology. The internet does not allow or gives permission for people to act a certain way.
This is America….. Freedom of speech! Unfortunately people will express themselves, and they could say what they want. People have the right to express their opinions whether it’s good or bad.
The way I would avoid this type of problems in my classroom would be by having group conversations. This conversation would give students a visual perspective, and they would basically have an idea that they must treat others like they want to be treated. Student must be trained to do good thing and be good to others. Student must be trained to be considerate and to the environment.
The parent’s are the only one’s to control this type of behavior in cyber bullying. Parents must monitor their children at home and check constantly the type of activities their children are involved. Parents have to advise their children of the types of behavior that are not acceptable. Bullying other children is not good behavior. Parents should ask their children questions, for instance how was your day, did you had any problems, and what did you learn. These types of question will help determine if there is any problem with the child. As parents we have to reinsure our children confidence, let them know how important they are, and that they cannot be down about any negative comment. Children have to learn the difference between good and bad and in this world we have both.
Reading all these articles made me realized how important it is to have good communication with all children. It is very important to always ask children how they are doing and to let them know that they have a friend that they could talk to if they are having any problems.

Reflective Blog #1
I found some educational, classroom and teacher blogs that I thought were interesting and I would like to share with you……..
Educational
Intrepid Teacher http://intrepidteacher.edublogs.org/
This site provides some useful information on how teacher's should consider and use technology. For example, the way they should connect with their student's beyond classroom time. I like the way this blog looks; its simple and bright. The major attraction of this blog is the picture with the children walking. I like how this teacher puts her main ideas at the bottom of the title. I recommend this blog; I like her point of view.
Engaging Online Gradebook http://call4teachers.blogspot.com/
For new and modernized parents' that enjoy doing must of their work on-line. I consider this tool to be useful and handy to parents' and student's….
This blog tells us of a way that parents', student's and teachers' could have access to their own student's performance. They could access this information at anytime and anyplace. Parents' could know ahead of time where their children stand academically. This blog is too dark and simple. I don’t like the format. At the beginning of this blog it didn’t say much, but as I scrolled down she had inserted a video of this engrade program. I recommend this blog
Classroom
B2 A Classroom of 6-7 yr old http://b2rocks.blogspot.com/2007/12/part-5-our-digital-christmas-stories.html
This blog has student's activities. They shared their emotions, how they felt with certain thing or activities they had done. I like the slide show with the children’s pictures and how they added videos. I like the header of this blog and the colors are great! This blog doesn’t have much information, but it gives you an idea on how to incorporate parents' and children activities through the use of online.
Bellevue8 http://bellevue8.blogspot.com/
This site brought out an exciting vision of what student's learned in their classroom. This blog gives information and details of activities that they had during class, and how they help out in their community.
I have to say this is a lovely blog. The background and the colors are ideal to catch people’s attention.
TeacherTeacher http://fwe2.motime.com/
I found this teacher to be helpful and caring. The teacher demonstrates how creative you could be, and educate at the same time. I found this blog exciting! How she gives her student's the extra help they need, while using tools that they enjoy. I like the menu that links to other sites that are helpful to her student's in her English class. The slide show stands out, and blue is my favorite color! I recommend this site.
Teacher's could get idea's from this blog.
The Learning Box http://blog.thelearningbox.info/
This advertisement offers to help student's academically. How they are able to help children with their homework and how student's get one-on-one attention. This blog brings out the point they are trying to make. The way student's become successful using this program. The pictures gives a vision to parents of what their children could expect. I don’t recommend this blog.
